Fresh from her European tour, international jazz and blues vocalist Barbara Morrison will spend a month of Saturdays in the Courtyard at One Colorado. Morrison has one of the most distinctive voices in the music world. Her cool, elegant and passionate interpretations of American classics are delivered with high-class polish and grace. She and her variety of guests will bring back an era of sophistication that evokes Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James and Dinah Washington, with whom Morrison has been compared.

Morrison brings you the big band sounds of the acclaimed “Evan’s Mixed Bag” 9-piece orchestra led by trombonist Evan Pigford in this salute to the days of Count Basie and Duke Ellington. This full-on concert of jazz standards will have you swinging in your seats.

Barbara Morrison and "The Bu Crew" will take you to the days of Motown with the Motown Sounds and special guests Charles Small, Ronald Bishop, Richard Taylor and Peter Buck. Get ready for a night of songs by Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, The Supremes and Marvin Gaye.

A Tribute to The First Lady of Song, Ella Fitzgerald. In honor of the 90th anniversary of Fitzgerald’s birth, Barbara Morrison & "The Bu Crew" will present an evening devoted to one of the most influential vocalists of the 20th century with songs like Mac the Knife, Everytime We Say Goodbye and We’ll Take Manhattan.

Momma Blues. Five swingin’ blues mommas will burn the night away. Featured will be some of California’s top female blues artists.
